2. Wissahickon Brewery

If you're looking for family-friendly breweries in Philadelphia, look no further than the Wissahickon Brewery Company. This Philadelphia favorite welcomes kids and dogs and even offers beer yoga. 3. Dock Street

If you are looking for a family-friendly place for a day in Philadelphia, Dock Street may be the place for you. Located at 2118 Washington Avenue in South Philadelphia, Dock Street offers brewery tours on Saturdays. Their beer is so popular that the characters in the hit TV show even wear Dock Street t-shirts. The brewery has two locations. The newest location is at 1229 N. Front Street in Fishtown.

4. Yards

You might want to visit Yards Brewery if you're in the neighborhood. The brewery is a former skate park with a big black sign in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. It stands out from the other warehouses and craft breweries in the city. Founded in 1994 by a group of homebrewers, Yards has been growing rapidly. The brewery's mission statement encourages its patrons to "Brew Unto Others."



5. Evil Genius

In its recent expansion, Evil Genius has expanded to other states, including New York, Connecticut, and Indiana. Located in Fishtown, the brewpub has video games and a retro feel. Customers are treated to a selection of one-off beers made especially for The Lab. While you can't get the same variety at stores, Evil Genius brewers are proud to offer more than the average beer store.
