Philadelphia, PA - As Philadelphia's beer scene expands to the suburbs, Human Robot Brewing is looking to the suburbs for a new spot. The brewery will open the Haus in early next year in a 5,600-square-foot building that was previously home to Guild Hall Brewing Co. and Neshaminy Creek Brewing's Borough Brewhouse. Both businesses are closing and the new brewery will move in.
Human Robot Brewing to Open "The Haus" in Jenkintown
The venue will likely serve classic American pub food and German fare. The brewery will serve up German fare as well as an American pub food menu. The concept is similar to the one used by the brewery in its other locations. The restaurant was chosen for its location because of its convenient suburban location and turnkey operation.
The brewery purchased the building for $1.3 million, and the new venue will be called The Haus. The name is a nod to the popular "milk tube" Tuesdays, where customers can purchase a glass of foam for just $2. It will be able to seat 140 people.
