Philadelphia, PA - Baltimore’s Wild Kombucha revealed, their products will be being available at La Colombe’s primary coffeehouse in Philadelphia.Kombucha, a fermented tea, is increasing popularity as a more healthy substitute to soda, and holds potential health advantages as it is rich in probiotics. The bubbly beverage will make a fitting addition to La Colombe’s menu due to the amazing draft system that dispenses their unique lattes.
Manufactured by Mobtown Fermentation, Wild Kombucha has been expanding in the mid-Atlantic since it was first introduced in 2015 thanks to their special line of kombucha flavors crafted with natural fruit juices, and is currently available in over 300 venues, including Whole Foods and Harris Teeter. After acquiring an automated bottling machine in 2017, the small company found significant growth and started out to turn its sights to the north.
“We’ve been looking forward to expanding in to Philadelphia for some time, which is a big step for us, and we couldn’t be happier that we’re taking it with La Colombe,” said Wild Kombucha Owner Sid Sharma. “This feels like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
La Colombe has a long time standing tradition of working closely with coffee farmers to source the best tasting, most exotic, and rarest beans and roasts them to emphasize their natural flavors. The new kombucha will become a member of La Colombe’s existing offerings of traditional and inspiring beverages, including the Draft Latte™, the revolutionary cold coffee beverage that delivers a totally unique, cafe-style drinking experience, all readily available to-go.
