Philadelphia, PA - Realtor Dana Friedman and I joined entrepreneur Lisa Wise for dinner at Stephen Starr's Parc Rittenhouse, where we were magically transported to Paris, France. Lisa Wise is a change maker, thought leader, writer, and philanthropist who is the Founder and CEO of Flock DC and BirdWatch, a family of real estate management companies that oversees two billion dollars in property in Washington, DC area.

Lisa is bringing these services to the greater Philadelphia area - yay - this is a game changer. Selling real estate, I was super excited to learn about Lisa's birdSEED program, which is rolling out in Philadelphia in September/October 2022, where Lisa and her advisory board are funding $10,000 to $15,000 (a better version no-strings grant) for first-time homebuyers in the greater Philadelphia area who identify as Black, Indigenous, or people of color. If this "grant" would be a game changer and help you buy a home. Contact Realtor Dana Friedman of Keller Williams at (215) 901-4522 for more info.

Back to our dinner at Parc. Brian Eikamp, our waiter, was SUPER attentive. Everything starting with the house-made bread, which was crusty on the outside and soft, not chewy on the inside basket, is beyond delicious. The escargot served in hazelnut butter is fantastic. Dana was obsessed with dipping the bread to soak up the yummy sauce.

The French Fries are thin, crisp on the outside, and soft inside. In my opinion, they are spot on. The Warm Shrimp Salad is divine. This dish is what dreams are made of. Parc uses two different sauces on this dish - a warm garlic butter on the shrimp and a lemon vinaigrette for on the salad with avocado and roasted tomatoes. This is the best version of this salad I have ever had. Thank you to the general manager Lauren who helped us identify the best place to take photos and take them.

Parc pays tribute to beloved French bistro with their design elements like charming tile. During a visit to the charming bathroom, I met Phoebe Gutt. There genuinely are 6 degrees of separation. We both know and love Chrissy and Jeff Bowden!! Phoebe also introduced me to her beautiful mom, who does the tenting for Radnor Races and Devon Horse Show, just to name a few.

It was a great night with great food in an authentic Parisian environment with the even better company - this created a joie de vivre that I am grateful for.
