Philadelphia, PA - Tenderbones Rib Shack is August in the cheesesteak calendar. So, I took a vacation from your regular-size cheesesteaks and headed to my favorite Delaware cheesesteak place.
Tenderbones Rib Shack And Wilmington Brew Works
Then, I took them to Wilmington Brew Works, one of my favorite Delaware Watering Holes. I joined Joe Del Tufo, cheesesteak fan, and several Wilmington Brew Works owners for a brew and Tenderbone Cheesesteaks.
Before we get to the important stuff, Joe is a photographer working with an animal trainer to train birds, owls, and other birds to fly the wedding bands into the ceremony.
So, if you plan to get married, call Joe; yes, I want him to be successful. But I want to see a viral wedding video of a bird of prey delivering a wedding band and then wreaking havoc at a wedding.
Anyway, we ordered two cheesesteaks from Tenderbones. The recent inflation in meat prices may have affected the cheesesteaks' size, but they are still extra-large. The four of us split two cheesesteaks and had enough leftovers for a fifth person.
Chef Bones still makes them with fried onions, peppers, and mushrooms. If you are interested, several YouTube videos show Chef Bones at the grill online.
Wilmington Brew Works: Joe correctly deemed Craig, the brewmaster at WBW, a Hops Maestro. There are 16 taps, and everyone will always be able to find a beer they like.
Craig does a fantastic job of keeping a diverse selection of beers available. We had a winner-winner cheesesteak dinner at Wilmington Brew Works with no birds attacking us. And if you have not tried the Tri-State Area's Biggest Cheesesteaks, you're missing out.
