Philadelphia, PAHiroki Japanese Omakase Concept in Fishtown - HIROKI, Fishtown’s dining scene now has a high-end Japanese dining establishment. Located in the former Morimoto space where Sushi Chef Hiroki Fujiyama will serve an omakase selection of 20 courses alongside sake pairings.


Hiroki Japanese Omakase Concept in Fishtown

HIROKI is the brainchild of Chef Hiroki Fujiyama, the previous head sushi chef at Morimoto, as well as Method Co., Chef Fujiyama, will take the lead at Hiroki's kitchen, preparing omakase menus, which means “I’ll leave it up to you,” implying that the guests place their faith in chef choices.

Noticeable only by a “round” dark-colored hardwood door, the restaurant's design and style are moderate and yet sophisticated. The restaurant's design was constructed by Method Co., making use of local woodwork along with reclaimed Southeast Asian teak floorings all through the interior space. The restaurant seats 26 guests and features 14 seats at the sushi bar, where customers can easily view the chef's hard at work.

Hiroki Menu "Omakase"

The omakase menu will cost $135, or $195 and comes with a sake pairing, the selection consists of 20 courses, beginning with zensai, small dishes prepared with regionally sourced, in-season ingredients. Followed by, a variety of nigiri, an extraordinary hand a rolled Japanese omelet, along with dessert.
