The Bellevue Hotel as the new Executive ChefPhiladelphia, PA - Chef Amy Culverwell has taken the helm at The Bellevue Hotel as the new Executive Chef and its first female head chef. Culverwell will manage culinary operations at XIX (Nineteen) Restaurant, which includes the Cameo Room, Pearl Room, XIX To Go, as well as Lounge; plus the banquet and event experience.

Chef Amy Culverwell Chef Amy Culverwell Before joining The Bellevue, Chef Amy was the Executive Sous Chef for the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Va. for 14 years. Prior to that, Chef Amy obtained her certificate of chef training from the Washburne Trade School in Chicago and also graduated with a degree in hospitality and tourism management out of the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Chef Amy looks forward to using regionally sourced ingredients to enhance the creative cuisine at XIX, known for its breathtaking panoramic views high atop the 19th floor of Philadelphia’s lone hotel listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
