Ted and Sav Bouikidis are brothers with more than 30 years experience in the food industry, they pride themselves on quality, service and keeping our customers full and happy. Their father started the legacy back in the 1970s when he owed a pizza and sandwich shop at 13th and Race Street. Zesto Pizza first opened in Roxborough in 2009, then Bryn Mawr in 2012, University City in 2014, and now there is even a location in Middle River, MD.
No matter what you order, Zesto does it well. They even do delivery themselves. Try out the hand-tossed pizza (small or large) and bread sticks made in house on their granite stone oven. With so many different topping options you can create your own or choose from the gourmet signature favorites like Mediterranean WHITE PIZZA WITH BABY SPINACH, PLUM TOMATOES AND RICOTTA CHEESE; BUFFALO CHICKEN, CHICKEN BACON RANCH, RED MARGHERITA FRESH MOZZARELLA, CHOPPED FRESH BASIL AND PLUM TOMATO SAUCE OR WHITE MARGHERITA WITH GARLIC SAUCE, FRESH MOZZARELLA, REGULAR MOZZARELLA, CHOPPED FRESH BASIL AND A SPLASH OF PLUM TOMATO SAUCE. ZESTO USES ONLY THE BEST GRANDE MOZZARELLA AND RICOTTA CHEESE ON THEIR PIES.
And if you’re not feeling like pizza, not to worry there are so many other options like Stromboli, Calzones, Cheesesteaks, wraps, hoagies, paninis, and sandwiches. We love to grab a Cheesesteak Wrapand the Chicken Zesto with ROASTED PEPPERS, FRESH MOZZARELLA, DRIZZLED WITH BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE AND GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE ON A LONG ROLL IS GREAT TOO. OR CHECK OUT THE Chicken Cutlet ItalianSPINACH, PROVOLONE AND GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE SERVED ON A LONG ROLL. THE FIESTA PANINI WITH GRILLED CHICKEN, SHARP CHEDDAR, JALAPENOS AND SPICY CHIPOTLE AIOLI IS ALSO VERY POPULAR.
And you wouldn’t expect but the Chicken Quesadilla here is also bomb- packed with charbroiled chicken and loads of gooey cheese. They’ve also got Buffalo Wings (hot, mild, or BBQ) served 10-50 per order, great for Sunday or Monday night football watching. Whatever you do, order the Zesto Fries with mozzarella, bacon, and Kraft cheese whiz. These gooey mess of cheesy bacony goodness are worth every calorie- we promise.
Stop in for specials like 2 slices and a soda for $6.45/$8.45. Display pies in the shop sold by the slice are 19 inches, small pies are 12, and large pies are 16.
