Tamworth Distilling is delighted to introduce its newest expression, aptly dubbed Scat: a scratch-made moose pellet infused vodka evocative of specialty coffee and raw fermented cacao beans, now available for sale at Tamworth Distilling and Philadelphia sister store Art in the Age.
“People’s jaws hit the floor when they heard about our Deerslayer Venison Whiskey and the Eau de Musc whiskey made with beaver castoreum – the best part is that the spirits are exceptionally delicious, well-reviewed,” remarked spirit savant and Tamworth Distilling founder Steven Grasse. “With Scat, we’re taking a giant step right into the flora and fauna of New Hampshire in a whole new way. White Mountain Winter Harvest New Hampshire moose pellets boast a high density of tree bark and evergreen forage, bringing a distinct note of decomposing pine needles and wet forest floor combined with a sweet, dried fruit aftertaste, similar to fig jam, to the hand-selected pellets used in the creation of Scat.
