Philadelphia, PA - Crooked Eye Brewery was started as a 5-gallon hobby system in owner Jeff Mulherin's kitchen. The process was so enjoyable that Mulherin soon realized other people would want to sample his beer. As his brewing knowledge grew, he started experimenting with recipes and brewed more. The first production was in June 2013, and the brewery received its license in February 2014.

It has been a long road, but there is no reason to give up if you're a seasoned craft beer drinker. Crooked Eye Brewery now serves fresh ales. Its owners, Jeff & Paul Mulherin, and Jeff's Uncle Paul Hogen have extensive brewing experience, which shows in the high quality of their craft beers.
The brewery's staff is diverse and offers a unique work environment. They are passionate about brewing and love to drink their craft beers. In short, the Crooked Eye team works well together. The atmosphere in their tasting room is warm, inviting, and family-like. The owners' family-friendly attitude and tasty brews make working at Crooked Eye an enjoyable experience. There are two tasting rooms in the brewery. The first features a rustic, industrial-themed tasting room with 20-plus seating. The second features a small L-shaped bar and a leg lamp from "A Christmas Story." On Fridays, live bands play. The brews on a 7-barrel system. Its brews are for in-house consumption. During your visit, you can choose between 14-16 different beers on tap.
