Philadelphia, PA - Bluebird Distilling, Phoenixville’s award-winning grain-to-glass craft distillery, is celebrating their third anniversary with Bluebird Bonanza, an all-day indoor-outdoor party as well as a limited release of their newest spirit, Phoenixville Whiskey, on Sunday, June 24th.
From noon to 11 pm guests will enjoy an outdoor rum bar in the distillery parking lot flanking bustling Bridge St. boasting cocktails from Beverage Manager Matt Giarratano, complementary tastings of Bluebird’s expansive selection of grain-to-glass spirits, savory bites from KaChi Korean Food Truck, corn hole, giveaways, prizes and more.
Adkins is honoring the third anniversary by releasing a limited edition Phoenixville Straight Whiskey. Coming in at 86 proof, this soft and sweet spirit is the perfect blend of Bluebird Distilling’s Rye Whiskey, Wheat Whiskey and Four Grain Bourbon, also known as America’s original whiskeys. This unique blend is honoring the classic makeup of America’s whiskeys, combining vanilla from the Bourbon, butterscotch from the Wheat and a rich cherry spice from the Rye.
“The anniversary party is always my favorite day of the year,” said Bluebird Distilling Founder, Jared Adkins. “Not only is our third anniversary celebration twice as long, it’s sure to be the biggest event yet, with the debut of new craft cocktails, a food truck, live music and the release of our Phoenixville Whiskey.”
The Phoenixville Whiskey is a limited-edition spirit only available at the distillery for $40. Bluebird Distilling’s third anniversary comes on the heels of an exciting expansion with the addition of two 1,200 gallon fermenters at the distillery along with other tanks and vessels, allowing Adkins and his skilled team to increase the whiskey output by 50%.
