On Tuesday, May 3 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., Philadelphia Beer Week (PBW) will partner with Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America (CBC) to host a joint Happy Hour in America’s Best Beer-Drinking City. Held at Johnny Brenda's (120 North Frankford Avenue, 215-739-9684), the event will feature the First Taste of Brotherly Suds 7, a ryebock brewed collaboratively in celebration of PBW 2016 by the area’s top craft brewers; guests will meet-and-greet brewers from all seven Brotherly Suds collaborators and enjoy an exclusive first taste of the beer, to kick off CBC and prepare for PBW one month later, with Opening Tap scheduled for Friday, June 3.

Representatives from Yards Brewing Company, Victory Brewing Company , Sly Fox Brewing Company, Iron Hill's Brewery & Restaurant, Flying Fish Brewing Company, Stoudt's Brewing Company and Tröegs Brewery - Hershey, PA 17033 will be on hand to chat with drinkers about creating Brotherly Suds 7 and welcome them to CBC, the country’s largest trade event for brewers. William Reed and members of the PBW Executive Board will be available to chat with attendees, along with CBC officials, including Bob Pease, President and CEO of the Brewers Association -- and the Hammer of Glory (affectionately known as The HOG), the official keg hammer and mascot of PBW, will be available for photo ops.
