The annual prohibition-themed mixology event is back and better than ever to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). Since 2012, the Speakeasy has raised more than $100,000 for ALSF and childhood cancer research.

The Speakeasy will feature some of the city’s most talented bartenders including Billy Morrissey (James), Tom Danks (Keen), Molly O'Rourke (Bop), Matt Kaz (Thomas Hooker Beer and Beer Love) and Dave Everitt (Capelli Bros.). Guest judges will vote for their favorite lemon-inspired cocktail to be named the “Spirit of the Speakeasy” and attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the “People’s Choice.” YPALSF will also raffle fabulous prizes from Steven Singer, Lazy Eye Distillery and Longchamp.

“We are truly grateful to have the continuing support of young professionals in the Philadelphia area through YPALSF,” said Liz Scott, Co-Executive Director of the Foundation. “We believe that young people are a driving force in making a difference in the lives of others. YPALSF and the individuals involved are playing an integral role in helping to find cures for all kids with cancer.”

The Young Professionals of ALSF is a group of self-starting, enthusiastic individuals dedicated to fulfilling ALSF Founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s vision to find a cure for childhood cancer. Comprised of young professionals in the Philadelphia area, they support ALSF’s mission through various networking and fundraising events. The Young Professionals of ALSF engage members at a point in their lives when they are looking to support a cause both financially and through volunteerism.
