Visit Philadelphia & Herr’s Collaboration Spans Football Season & Focuses On Family Celebrations & Hometown Pride
The collaboration takes full advantage of Herr’s iconic hometown snack food status and VISIT PHILADELPHIA’s deeply established and far-reaching marketing efforts.
VISIT PHILADELPHIA will make use of several advertising tactics, among them TV and outdoor advertising, digital content development, and distribution, social media.
“As we approach Herr’s 75th anniversary in 2021, we want Herr’s to remain top-of-mind and the first snack choice for Philadelphians and its visitors,” said Jim Herr, senior vice president of marketing and research and development for Herr’s.
A few playful campaign ideas in the works will include a chip-tasting and snack-themed public art events, together with promotions around National Potato Chip Day in March. Herr’s will even have a presence in VISIT PHILADELPHIA’s two popular productions, Philly Live Weekends and the Love + Grit podcast.
