Philadelphia, PAEagles Philly Giants Game - For the third straight game, the Eagles get to play within their own division. They have enjoyed two straight wins against the Giants and the Cowboys and just received a well-timed bye week. This has certainly been the most optimistic time of this season, as Philly can get healthy, and could even break even on the season at 4-4-1.

Eagles vs. Giants NFC East Race

philadelphia eagles The matchup against the Giants is a rematch of a Thursday night game in October, one that the Eagles narrowly won, 22-21. Carson Wentz and the offense have looked ugly despite the recent winning. Ill-timed turnovers and bad play-calling have become a regular thing for this team. They look to get Alshon Jeffery back in the mix this week, who will hopefully be a boon for the offense.

For the Giants, things have been looking up. They almost knocked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers two weeks ago and held off Washington to earn a win last week. They’ve been playing with much more heart lately, which is a good sign for New York, as they are very much alive in this laughable NFC East race. Will the Giants avenge their loss to the Eagles earlier this season? I don’t think so.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is an x-factor in a bad way. He does have the ability to change the game with a bad pass or two that could lead to a huge turnover. We saw it against the Bucs, and I think we’ll see it again. Look for the Eagles to get after Jones early and often in an attempt to force a game-changing takeaway or two.

Final score: Eagles, 23. Giants. 21.
