Philadelphia, PA - As Philadelphia Eagles fans celebrated a spot in this year's Super Bowl LII, with a victory over the Minnesota Vikings, the Philadelphia Police Departments “Crisco Cops” were greasing light poles in hopes of preventing Eagles fans from climbing them -they failed. But, in comes Dottie's Donuts, paying tribute to the greased poles and Eagles fans, with a special treat. The vegan sweet shop is offering a "Greased Pole Doughnut".
Called the Eagles Fan on a Greased Pole, it consists of a pole-shaped doughnut of pure chocolate dough. Covered in vanilla glaze or "Crisco", with a smear of green matcha glaze to symbolize the Eagles green jerseys. Score your own at their West Philly location at 4529 Springfield Ave. or the Queen Village shop 509 S. Sixth St.
On a side note, Dottie’s also has stopped selling their Boston cream doughnut's until the end of the Super Bowl LII and a hopeful Eagles win.
