Captial Protest 2021Philadelphia, PA - Gov. Tom Wolf ordered the Pennsylvania Capitol in Harrisburg will be closed for two days during the inauguration of Joe Biden and three state officials' swearing-in ceremony.

The state complex has been closed to the general public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most state employees are already working from home.

The cause for concern will be on Sunday when marches to statehouses around the country are rumored to occur; however, no specific threats have been identified.

But, as a precaution, the Pennsylvania National Guard will be assigned to the State Capitol and other potential targets around the state.
