Philadelphia, PAPhillyBite Philadelphia - The City of Philadelphia more than $9 million in state financial support awarded to help support traffic signal enhancements under the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) “Green Light-Go” program. The award is going to aid signal improvements and improvements along specific corridors for the increased safety and mobility throughout the City.

PhillyBite LGBTPhiladelphia, PA - Mayor Jim Kenney signed two bills today which replace gendered marital signifiers in the Realty Transfer Tax and Senior Citizen Low Income Special Tax Provisions. The legislation, introduced by Councilman Derek Green, will replace the terms “husband,” “wife,” “widow,” and “widower” on the forms to the non-gendered term “spouse.”
