PhillyBite AFSCMEPhiladelphia, PA - The City of Philadelphia and AFSCME District Council 47 today reached a tentative agreement on a three year labor contract.

 

“I sincerely thank the leadership of District Council 47 and Locals 2186 and 2187 for their hard work and dedication to reaching this agreement, and look forward to ratification by the hard working members of the locals,” said Mayor Kenney.

AFSCME District Council 47 represents Administrative, Professional, Technical Employees and first level Supervis - ors employed by the City of Philadelphia. We also represent employees of the First Judicial District. Community and Social Agency Employees, Technical Employees of Temple University, University of Penn Cafeteria and Library Employees, Keepers and Support Staff at the Philadelphia Zoo, as well as Philadelphia Art Institute Instructors are also members of DC 47.

Details will be forthcoming after ratification by the membership.
