- Bodhi Kitchen, a new Pan-Asian Restaurant, is opening on North First Street at Rehoboth Beach. Bodhi will be celebrating its grand opening on July 12th. The Top of the Pines, located on Baltimore Avenue, is the third restaurant from Second Block Hospitality Management. The team behind Drift and The Pines American Bistro includes David Gonce, Bob Suppies, and Tyler Townsend, the Lion Gardeners.
Bodhi Kitchen Brings Asian Flavors and Innovative Dishes to Rehoboth Beach
Bodhi will offer a menu that is inspired by Asian cuisine. It includes dishes with unique flavors, such as "dan dan" and cumin noodles. There are also more traditional dishes, like wonton soup or chicken satay. Bodhi is the name of a Southeast Asian tree considered sacred by Buddhists.
Bodhi Kitchen is a fusion of Thai, Korean, and Japanese flavors and Chinese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese.
Bodhi will offer online ordering and a dim sum brunch with sake pairings, Asian-inspired cocktail recipes, and cocktails. The carefully crafted cocktail menu, developed by local bartender Ben Winiarczyk, features original and unique cocktails inspired by Asian culture and ingredients. There is something for everyone, from their 'Quiet Meditation,' a Japanese vodka with cucumber and basil, to their rye and ginger sour, featuring a unique combination of Spicy Peppers (Tingly peppercorns) and China's Szechuan Pepper Corns.
Lily Thai Cuisine used to be located in this location. Since then, the interior and exterior spaces have been redesigned and renovated to reflect the new theme.
