Delaware - Tom Follery's Middletown DelawareIt was lunchtime, and I found myself in Middletown, Delaware. I had Luna's Pizza and Tom Foolery's Restaurant & Bar on my list of places to try. I figured if someone found themselves down in Middletown, as I did, they would want a beer as I did, so I went with Tom Foolery.

Unfortunately, it's COVID-19 quarantine time, and I could not have a beer. Hopefully, you'll find yourself in Middletown DE when you're able to get a beer. Tom Foolery looks like a fun place, and the fans on the deck were actual propeller blades.

This place is a spacious restaurant, with lots of tables, a big bar and lots of parking. This is an excellent restaurant with a sold bar cheesesteak. It's pricey, but it did come with french fries and was made well. The french fries were tasty, and It came with provolone cheese, fried onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, and I added my usual Mushrooms.

The provolone on this Cheesesteak was loose and complemented the rest of the Cheesesteak well. It appeared to be melted on top of the meat, then flipped into the roll, which was the perfect melt for provolone. The roll was standard, the meat was good, lettuce and tomato were nice. I think the fried onions and mushrooms were the weak links.

The Cheesesteak traveled very well being quarantine time, so take out food is a topic of conversation. I did not look at the menu, but it is a big place, on a Tuesday during quarantine they do enough business to have two people working the front of the house, the Cheesesteak was delicious but Pizza is the big seller, I'm guessing they have a nice menu and good food.
