Philadelphia's Best Neighborhood Hardware Stores
Rittenhouse Hardware
Welcoming neighborhood shop for paint, tools, cleaning products & household improvement supplies.
The Rittenhouse Hardware store located right off the ever so posh Rittenhouse Square is one of the best-stocked hardware stores I've ever been in. They seriously fit more stuff into that store than most stores 5 times the size; you would be amazed at the things you can find in there! – Review Rick S.

Henry's Hardware
This cozy family-operated store carries home improvement supplies, tools & paint.
Henry's Hardware, formerly 1540 Hardware ( even though all the signs still say 1540), is a wonderfully stocked store. I was impressed with the selection of their tools, light bulbs, paints, as well as everything you'd expect to find in your neighborhood hardware store. - Review Arthur Glauberman

Ritner Hardware Store
Small South Philly, hardware shop with very friendly staff and knowledgable staff.
Best Hardware store in South Philly. I didn't think I would be able to repair one of our apartment windows that was embedded into a frame, but they could fix it low and behold. Thank you, and God bless. – Review Philly Chris

Cohen & Co Hardware & Home Goods
Longtime, family-run general store with tools, paint, garden supplies & more, plus various services.
Mr. Cohen and his wife are some of the friendliest business owners I have ever met. They have everything you'd need at this store, and the prices are fantastic. Saves me a trip to Home Depot. Another excellent feature of this store is that Mr. Cohen allows an independent bread maker to sell fresh-baked bread on Saturdays and Sundays out of his store. The bread is AMAZING! You absolutely need to give it a shot. So many different kinds, and they're all fantastic. – Review Kyle McCloskey

Kilian Hardware
Century-old storefront offering a wide selection of hardware, tools, garden & home supplies.
Big box stores are overrated, and even with their vast size, They never have what I need, but this place does. Especially great for materials for working on all of the s Janelle Sahutskiurrounding historic buildings. Their staff is also quite helpful, even if at times a little gruff. - Review
