Recent Top Chef winner Kevin Sbraga had found himself in the middle of a lawsuit with a company that installed the equipment in the recently closed Juniper Commons restaurant, according to a Philly.com
Clark Food Service Equipment of Lancaster filed a complaint this week claiming Sbraga still owed more than $100,000 for the equipment installed at the restaurant. The company claims more then $218,000 worth of equipment was installed, according to the report.
Sbraga won season 7 of Bravo's Top Chef season 7 and operates two other restaurants in Philadelphia s Sbraga, on Broad Street, and The Fat Ham, on Walnut Street. Juniper Commons was located at South and Broad streets and all closed less than six months after opening.
