Inspired by the traditional Brazilian cocktail, below is the Bluecoat Caipirinha recipe thatLoews Philadelphia is serving up for guests to enjoy until August 21st during their visit or recreate at home:

2 oz. Bluecoat gin
5 muddled limes
Sugar in the raw simple syrup
Serve over crushed ice with a float of 21st Amendment’s Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Ale

We loved pairing this drink with some of our favorite small plates from Bank & Bourbon including one of our favorites, the Warm Summer Corn Salad made with local roasted corn, snow peas, candied walnuts, lime and Parmesan, Local Cheese Plate with harbison jasper hill cow’s milk, the last straw sheep’s milk, amish noble cave aged cheddar cow’s milk, sharp 2 goat’s milk, and birchrun blue, or the Taste of Ham with goat butter, crusty bread, Hamery, Benton’s Ham, and Creminelli Proscuitto.
