Why is Ice Coffee So Popular Today

The popularity of iced coffee is growing among millennials. Several studies have revealed that nearly half millennials drink it at least once a week. This is particularly true of those between the ages of 18 and 24. It is no surprise that many of these consumers are young adults. They've grown up with sugary energy drinks. They want to incorporate a beverage that tastes like coffee into their drinking lifestyle.

The iced coffee phenomenon began in the 1920s and has become popular across the globe. In fact, many high school students are now addicted to iced coffee because it provides them with a much-needed boost of energy. Unlike energy drinks that often contain caffeine and a high sugar level, iced coffee offers a more stable, long-lasting growth. Most major coffee stores sell iced versions of their popular drinks.

In addition to being popular in the United States, iced coffee has also spread worldwide. In 2009, only 19 percent of all coffee-based menu items were iced coffee. In 2013, this drink represented 24 percent of the category. In the United Kingdom, iced coffee is trendy among young people who have grown up with icy-cold sodas. These beverages are also incredibly healthy. The only real disadvantage of consuming iced coffee is the sugar content.

The AJF Partnership campaign won the Grand Effie award for its iced coffee campaign. The campaign beat other well-known advertising agencies and grew the category. However, iced coffee remains one of the most popular beverages globally. It is consumed by both men and women, but the iced version is considered more popular than the original version. It is also considered more delicious than the original version and has become popular in restaurants.

According to a recent survey, iced coffee has gained popularity among people of all ages. Although it doesn't enjoy the cachet of other drinks, it is becoming more popular. Despite this, iced coffee is more expensive than hot coffee. For instance, the iced version of a hot coffee costs more. Consequently, this beverage is more expensive. It is often used by people with lower incomes.
