Square 1682 Serves Up Philly's Best Thanksgiving

Philadelphia, PA -- Square 1682, Modern American Kitchen + Cocktails, the award-winning and dynamic restaurant and bar adjacent to Hotel Palomar in Center City has rolled out several exciting new initiatives for November beginning with a pre-marathon dinner, and ending with a 3 course prix-fixe Thanksgiving meal—with a few spectacular cocktails from head bartender Daniel Kulisek sprinkled in along the way.

For the folks who balk at the idea of spending hours in the kitchen or can’t make it home for their tryptophan fix, the stellar staff at Square 1682 and Chef Caitlin Mateo have crafted the perfect Thanksgiving three course prixe-fixe menu for $55 a person. 1st Course

Parsnip soup- roasted cauliflower, beet, hazelnut, mezza greens

 

Warm spinach salad- smoked bacon, heirloom carrots, toasted quinoa, amish blue cheese, white balsamic vinaigrette

 

2^nd Course

Heritage herb roasted turkey- root vegetable farrotto, blistered haricot vert, traditional gravy

 

Roasted Acorn Squash- braised du puy lentils, beech mushrooms, pearl onion, roasted garlic buerre blanc

 

For the table:

Whipped potatoes- truffled black pepper butter

 

Brussels sprouts- pickled cranberries, curry butter, fried shallots

 

3^rd Course

Carrot Cake –  pomegranate, basil coulis, vanilla bean gelato

 

Pear Crostata – port wine syrup, almond brittle, honey gelato
