Philadelphia, PA - The 2018 Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert and Fireworks, will be remembered as one of the best in a decade. Party goers arrived early to experienced this years Celebrations on the Parkway complete with food trucks, games, activities and much more! This year's July 4th Concert concluded with Philly’s biggest fireworks display in more than a decade. Produced by Pyrotechico and Comcast, this years program included unique special effects as well as music devoted to love.
The Philly POPS BIG Band were back this year, joined by Tony and Grammy Award Winning R&B, Gospel and Broadway Star Heather Headley, and R&B singers Tiffany Jones, Alita Moses, and Desahanna Wooden.
The evening concert came to a conclusion with Mr. 305 to Mr. Worldwide, Armando Christian Perez, aka Pitbull, who represents the American Dream and worldwide success. Born to Cuban-American expatriates, Pitbull ended the night with his high energy performance in front of thousands of fans who lined the parkway to see this years performers. The night end with a bang followed by a spectacular firework display that light up the night sky and the Philadelphia Art Museum.
