YEAR ROUND BREWS

Tröegs Pale Ale

Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with crystal malts to create a hoppy, crisp, copper-colored ale. Simple and classic, yet full-flavored and sessionable.

HopBack Amber Ale

HopBack Amber Ale gets its unique name and taste from the hopback vessel in our brewhouse. Packed full of whole flower hops, each batch circulates through the vessel, creating a fresh hoppy aroma, spicy taste and a rich caramel note that defines our signature Amber Ale.

Troegenator® Double Bock

Troegenator Double Bock is a dark, strong lager. It pours into a glass with a bronze to brown color, fluffy white head and bready malt aroma. The Troegenator leaves a rich, warming feeling and subtle spicy flavors. The style, Double Bock, dates back a century or so ago. During periods of fasting without solid foods, the Monastic brewers relied on the Double Bock; a stronger, richer beer to fulfill their basic nutritional needs. Known to them as "liquid bread," a Double Bock has a strong malt aroma and rich chewy body. In the spirited tradition of naming a Double Bock using the suffix "-ator," we give you Troegenator to provide warmth and nourishment all throughout the year.

DreamWeaver® Wheat

Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining wheat with Munich and Pilsner malts, German Northern Brewer hops, open top fermentation and a yeast strain that imparts a peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of banana, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

JavaHead Stout

JavaHead's recipe is based on our original Oatmeal Stout. After the boil, the hot wort passes through our hopback vessel on its way to fermentation. Packed full of whole leaf hops and a bed of ground coffee beans, the hopback vessel is similar to using a huge French press, intensifying the coffee nose and releasing subtle hints of coffee flavor. The result is a lush, smooth mouthfeel balanced with cocoa, roast, and subtle coffee flavors.

Perpetual IPA

In our constant evolution as a brewery, we’ve developed an undying drive to meld the organic and the mechanical. Perpetual IPA utilizes our hopback and dry-hopping to engineer a bold Imperial Pale Ale. It features Bravo, Chinook and Mt. Hood hops in the boil, Mt. Hood and Nugget hops in the hopback, and is further dry-hopped with Citra and Cascade hops.

LaGrave

LaGrave (pronounced \l?-gräv\), the first of our corked and caged bottle releases, is inspired by nature’s untamed beauty. Bottle conditioned and highly carbonated, this Triple Golden Ale is steeped in the tradition of strong ales originally brewed in Belgium. The unique Belgian yeast, which is fermented at a slightly higher temperature than normal, forms the bedrock of LaGrave’s complex flavors. Strong and alluring, LaGrave boasts a sweet, fruity flavor with a well-rounded mouthfeel and semi-dry, lingering bitter finish.

Jovial

Jovial adjective \’jo-ve-?l\ Cheerful and friendly; full of happiness and joy. Brimming with optimism, Jovial reveals its enduring charm and infinite merriment with each passing sip. This enticing Belgian-style Dubbel ale features hints of raisin, fig, date, and prune. As the flavor develops, traces of toffee, chocolate, and subtle spices emerge. Jovial is bottle conditioned and highly carbonated. Hold chalice and pour into center of the glass to release the yeast’s complex character.

Autumn is an insanely popular season for beer releases. Perhaps the most famous, long-standing fall beer style of all is the Märzenbier, or more commonly known as “Festbier.” To commemorate the annual German tradition of Oktoberfest, we once again offer our take on this classic German style.  With origins dating back to 16th century Bavaria, the original Märzen style was touted as “dark brown, full-bodied, and bitter.” Typically brewed during the warmer spring months, the beer was often stored in cellars before finally being served during Oktoberfest. Boasting a moderate hop presence, Scratch #205 displays a hint of bitterness while still maintaining the classic malt character you’ve come to expect from a traditional Festbier. Prost!
