In 2008, our founders Luke Bowen and Trevor Hayward met in an accounting class at Villanova University. Realizing that their job prospects were grim due to the recession, they decided to follow their passion and start their own brewery.

Since 2014 they have grown from 5 gallon extract batches to our current 7 barrel system. The members of Crooked Eye share a passion for brewing and bring different work experiences together to create a great team and a great product!

Barren Hill Tavern & Brewery offers 30 craft beers on draft as well as an excellent list of well-curated cans and bottles.
