Jet Wine GardenPhiladelphia, PA - Jet Wine Bar in Philadelphia, "the global vineyard," is excited to announce two upcoming chefs named as two of the most popular pop-ups in New York City. Nana Araba Wilmot of The Love I Knead Supper Club will host an AfroEATS and BEATS Pop-Up on Friday, June 2, from 5-9 pm. This dinner series celebrates Black History and foodways across the diaspora. On Wednesday, June 7, from 5-9 pm.


Jet Wine Garden Hosts Acclaimed Pop-Ups

During the AfroEATS & BEATS on June 2, guests will be treated to a curated selection of Pan-African street foods, including Grilled Suya Beef Sliders with signature bread ($17), Plantain Fire Roasted with tomato avocado salad (12), Jollof rice bowls and chicken or egg ($15), among others. Abara Wilmot began her cooking career at seven and is now based in Philadelphia. She pops ups with The Love I Knead all over Pennsylvania, New York, and beyond. Her full bio is below.

Shallwani will also offer a variety of other chaat flavors, including Poblano and Potato. There will also be a seasonal Mango Chaat Dog and Walking Chaats with Fritos. Shallwani is a chef inspired by Chicago, Pakistan, and Indian cuisines. His pop-up restaurant, which is based in New York City, was founded 17 years ago after he left Philadelphia to study culinary arts.
