BurgerFi in Center City, Has Shuttered its Doors

This closure marks another loss for affordable and quick lunch options in Center City. BurgerFi was known for its commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients, boasting 100% natural Angus beef, premium Wagyu options, and award-winning vegetarian and vegan burgers.

The restaurant chain emphasized its dedication to both taste and sustainability, highlighting its use of eco-friendly practices and antibiotic-free ingredients. Beyond its signature burgers, BurgerFi offered a variety of sides like fresh-cut fries and colossal onion rings, alongside delicious frozen custard desserts.

While the reasons for the closure remain unclear, it adds to a growing trend of fast-casual restaurants struggling in Philadelphia's urban core. The loss of BurgerFi leaves a void in the Center City landscape, and it's uncertain what will take its place.
