Independence Hall

It's located on Chestnut Street, on the opposite side of the road as the Liberty Bell. Independence Hall was the birthplace of the United States and was completed in 1756, made of red brick with a clock tower at the top. Independence Hall is one of the most iconic buildings in the United States of America and Philadelphia's most famous and significant tourist attractions. The Assembly room inside is where George Washington was made commander in chief of the Army.

The Liberty Bell

The bell is another significant symbol of American history, a symbol of freedom, and a place of historical importance that attracts tourists all around the year. After being removed from Independence Hall, it is now housed in a massive glass pavilion; as part of the 1976 Bicentennial. It is also known as the State House Bell.



Elfreth's Alley

Located on 2nd street, it's one of America's oldest residential streets continuously occupied to date. The popular tourist attraction dates back to the early 1700s. The popular tourist attraction gives visitors an idea of what colonial life was like in Philadelphia. The Alley's narrow streets still have the original brick houses built for skilled folks and their families to live. Near the Alley, you can find Elfreth's Alley Museum, which includes restored homes of a chair maker and dressmaker.

Philadelphia Zoo

Located near Fairmont park. It is America's oldest Zoo, opened in 1874, built to celebrate its first hundred years of independence. The Zoo accommodates over 2,000 animals and also includes many attractions inside the Zoo.
