This Camden landmark opened in 1943 and was made famous by the TV sitcom "The Goldbergs." Its popularity has soared in recent years, and the restaurant's new food truck has made it a destination for locals.

Donkey's Place has been in business for 75 years. The late Leon Lucas, a light-heavyweight boxer, purchased the establishment in 1943. He started selling fried steak and onion sandwiches and eventually bought a bar on Haddon Ave.

The restaurant's original tobacco-colored mural, which depicts the Sahara, still adorns the back room. The mural has been there for 60 years and is still one of the most iconic spots in Camden.
