hipcityvegPhiladelphia, PA -  The expansion of Marquis and Co. marks an evolution of HipCity's brand identity as it moves to its current and future locations. Quality, consistency, and service have been vital since founder Nicole Marquis opened in 2012. The brand expanded to four stores (three in Philadelphia and one in Washington, D.C.).

Philly’s HipCityVeg Plans Expansion in New and Existing Markets

Future plans to expand into new markets will follow New York City, which has a brick building and several nearby Go Kitchens. Both Go Kitchens will open in New York City within the next eight months, with plans to build three new brick condos in Philadelphia.

These delivery-only locations are dubbed "Go Kitchens" by HipCityVeg. According to Marquis, they will be a way for the company to serve "where they are now," according to Marquis. The company currently has five offices.

In New York, HipCityVeg will open a flagship store in Union Square and have multiple delivery locations in Brooklyn and Queens. All new HipCityVeg locations are expected to open by next February.

HipCityVeg, a Philadelphia-born plant-based fast-casual concept, will soon begin expanding with eight new locations, including a ghost kitchen in Port Richmond and two other stores in the city.

In Philadelphia, the chain's next location in the Port Richmond area will open in November, serving much of northern Philadelphia with a delivery service, with several additional locations planned for this year.

HipCityVeg currently has brick-and-mortar offices on 18th Street in Rittenhouse Square, Broad Street in Midtown and University City, and the suburbs of Ardmore and Wayne.
