Mushroom Festival - This fungi festival has been in existence now for over 25 years. Held annually, the weekend after labor day rain or shine. There is a small nominal fee for attending. You can make a day here as the festival contains tons of things to do such as meet with Guest Professional Chefs, Be part of the Mushroom soup cook-off, be part of the Mushroom run/walk, or just walk around and eat at the carnival.
