Philadelphia, PA - Passionate Rittenhouse-area NFL fans who love watching the game with cold beers and fantastic food in hand are in luck this season with Square 1682’s new Football & Fried Chicken Mondays, featuring large-screen game viewing.

Square 1682, Rittenhouse’s bustling restaurant + bar on the corner of 17th and Sansom Sts in Rittenhouse Square, right off the square and adjacent to Hotel Palomar, is the new unexpected hub for Monday night football starting September 24th.
From 5-10 pm every Monday NLF Foottball game through the Super Bowl, guests enjoy fried chicken and brews while cheering on their favorite team (GO EAGLES!). In addition to the TV over the bar, Square 1682 goes big every Monday with a new large-format projector screen, so guests will be able to watch the game from every seat in the house and not miss a play.
New Executive Chef Mackenson Horebe is offering four pieces of fried chicken + two sides + two bottles of Pilsner Urquells for a total of $25. The sides will rotate throughout the season, but think braised collard greens with smoked turkey, cheddar grits, and rosemary biscuits and cornbread.
