Philadelphia Water, Sewer and Stormwater Rates Increases Comming

Philadelphia, PA - Board Chair Sonny Popowsky announced today that the Rate Board has issued its Rate Determination governing water, sewer, and storm water rates in Philadelphia for Fiscal Years (FY) 2019 and 2020. The Rate Determination was filed with the City’s Department of Records yesterday afternoon.

Philadelphia Removes 8,000 Signs During Illegal Sign Round-up

Philadelphia, PA - The City’s Zero Waste and Litter Cabinet announced today that more than 8,000 illegal signs collected during the City’s first Illegal Signs Round-up. 24 community groups from across the city participated in organized efforts to take down the signs in June.

Philadelphia, PA - The City of Philadelphia more than $9 million in state financial support awarded to help support traffic signal enhancements under the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) “Green Light-Go” program. The award is going to aid signal improvements and improvements along specific corridors for the increased safety and mobility throughout the City.
