Insomnia Cookies Has A Cookie Speakeasy in South Philly
But Philly's latest speakeasy is not what you think. Known as the CookieLab, this secret establishment is more like a Sweeteasy.
The store-front says Insomnia Cookies, but Like any speakeasy, this secret passage has a private area for those in the know.
To enter the seemingly typical Cookies shop's secret CookieLab, you'll have to find the secrete entrance behind a bookshelf and know the password get access.
So, how do you get the password? That's the easy part; every week, the password will change, but Insomnia Cookies' official Instagram account will post the current week's password in their highlights section.
Once inside, guests can create their very own cookie combinations and milkshakes and choose from an exclusive menu only available at the Sweeteasy.
The hidden CookieLab offers dessert lovers the unique opportunity to customize Insomnia Cookies' menu by creating their own cookies and over-the-top milkshakes.
So, if you're looking for something interesting to do with the kids or just a late-night snack after a few of Philadelphia's most iconic cheesesteaks, take a stab at finding your way into Philly's newest Sweeteasy.
