Pizza Town USA in Elmwood Park, NJ
A trip to Pizza-Town USA in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, is an easy way to get an authentic slice of Chicago Style pizza. Raymond Tomo first opened Pizza-Town and has been a favorite in the community ever since. Located on US Highway 46, it's situated between the Garden State Parkway and the Passaic River. The pizza place is decorated in glossy red with Uncle Sam.
The family-owned Pizza Town has been around since 1958. The Tomo family was a great supporter of the Elmwood Park pizza culture, and they wanted to honor their father's legacy by keeping the store open. When Ray Tomo was a produce business owner in Brooklyn, he spotted a perfect spot on the land for a new pizza joint. He sold the business to Elio Suriano, who says he will continue to keep the building and menu the same.
