The Bayview Inn Restaurant in Wildwood Crest: Under New OwnershipWILDWOOD CREST  NJ – Brine restaurant and bar opened this summer in the former Bayview Inn location and, after a short-lived name, changed to Drift under the new owner Mark Platzer.

Since February, the new restaurant and bar have been undergoing renovations and will have a completely different feel than the old Bayview. The "Brine on Sunset lake" will be where patrons can hang out and listen to music. Platzer has owned the former Bayview properties for 15 years now and is turning over the management and operations of the new Brine restaurant to the next generation: his daughter, Brianna. It opened this Memorial Day Weekend under the name drift but has been recently renamed, Brine. According to the new sign out front, the restaurant is only open for dinner from 4 pm to close, a change from the original Drift concept that opened at 11 am.
