The Borscht Belt Announces Second Location to Open in Newtown, PA
The new location is slated to open in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center at Eagle and Durham Roads.
In Stockton, New Jersey, the Borscht Belt's first location is modeled after the delis of yesteryear. Celebrity chef Nick Liberato describes the food as 'delicious nostalgia.' A number of the dishes are inspired by the classic Jewish deli sandwiches.
The restaurant has named some of its signature sandwiches after iconic entertainers. Such as Jerry Lewis. They received a triple-decker roast turkey sandwich and Joan Rivers. Other sandwiches include chopped liver, tomato, Russian dressing, and other classics.
