Philadelphia, PA - Ralph’s Italian restaurant, located at 760 S 9th Street, is an iconic Philadelphia institution in the Italian market, operating for over 100 years. It is considered the oldest Italian restaurant in the country.

Ralph's is owned and operated by the fourth and fifth generations of the Dispigno/Rubino family. JB, the general manager, greeted us, seated us, and took a photo with Realtor Dana Friedman and myself. Several celebrities have come through Ralph's door, including Frank Sinatra, Taylor Swift, and President Joe Biden.
Last night Realtor Dana Friedman and I flanked Neketta Dean and her family Gabrielle Huff, Lakaria Lambert, and Brooklyn Dean, in that order to my right. We had a lot of laughs (peanut butter and jelly is now a private joke) as we dined on old-school ginormous meatballs with ricotta and "gravy," gnocchi in a blush sauce, eggplant parmigiana.
Even though everyone enjoyed their dinner, the piece de resistance was the special I ordered. Black Squid ink Lobster Ravioli with Shrimp in a cream sauce. For dessert, I had the refreshing Tartufo - I think collectively, we ordered every dessert on the menu. Dinner and the company were perfect!
