Buena Onda Taqueria Opening in Wayne, Pennsylvania
The restaurant will offer an extensive menu of traditional Baja staples, including various signature dishes. The restaurant will also offer take-out, delivery, and dine-in options.
The restaurant's design will evoke a surf shack reminiscent of the classic beachside surf shacks in Baja, Mexico. The interior will be made from whitewash wood and will have a laid-back, Endless Summer vibe. The menu features fresh fish tacos, house-made guacamole, quesadillas, and churros. There will also be a selection of seasonal agua frescas.
Buena Onda sustains its fish by partnering with Seafood Watch to support the community. In addition, it plays a big role in the communities in which it operates. For example, 25 cents of every guacamole sold at Buena Onda will go to the Garces Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by chef Jose Garces. This foundation raises funds for the immigrant community in Philadelphia.
