Philadelphia, PA - Opening Day at Twenty One Pips - the number of dots on a dice - is located at 24 Cricket Ave in Ardmore on the Main Line. You can make reservations online or call 610-228-2711. I was so excited to see and have lunch with Katharine Thi Koethe, who I hadn't seen in over two years, and meet Kat's boyfriend, Nick Petrine. He is passionate about the Boston Red Sox. His dream job is to work in baseball analytics for a professional baseball team. Of course, Kat's mom and my good friend Linda Koethe were at lunch too - it was Linda's birthday.

Since I was the first to arrive, I met Paige Miller, the guest services manager. She showed me around the two-story restaurant. They have everything from board games to even skeeball. This made me think about the Devon Horse Show when Alex Luboff and Suzy Pratowski challenged each other to skeeball! ...and the winner was...
Samantha Florent and Dawn Leinberger, this is so up your alley. Alice Deutsch is the game tender which means Alice can suggest games based on your likes and even teach you how to play. There is a $5 per person charge for each person to play games for 2 hours.
I also met Chris Fitzpatrick, the Director of Guest Experience, who had worked as the owner of Matthew Hendricks's other restaurant, The Thirsty Dice, located in the Fairmont section of Philadelphia, for about four years. Chris recommended that I order the handheld 21 burgers with bacon, bacon jam, and Gouda mornay on a seeded brioche bun which I did. It was delicious. Our personable waitress Garcelle Polche suggested Kat order the mussels, which also looked very good - I didn't try them, but Kat liked them. Linda and Nick both had the Boardroom burger and fries, which they both liked. Add this to your list for a casual place to have fun and enjoy a bite to eat.
