Philadelphia, PAPera Turkish Cuisine - Ergin and Mehmet Ergin have been roommates and business partners for almost ten years in the United States. Before the Pandemic swept the country, they were classmates at Rowan University and became friends. Since the start of the Pandemic, their plans to open a restaurant in Philadelphia have been delayed. But they now hope that they will fill that gap with Pera Turkish Cuisine.


Pera Turkish Cuisine Announces Grand Opening

The new Turkish restaurant will be open from April 1st, 2022. There will be free baklava samples during the grand opening weekend. The new restaurant will also host the renowned NoLibs Restaurant Week, where guests can enjoy a three-course meal for $25. The Philadelphia location will be a destination for foodies and locals alike throughout the year.

The restaurant is located at 944 N. 2nd Street in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. The restaurant will feature a casual, family-style menu and serve Turkish fare. The menu features soups, salads, sandwiches, kebabs, and traditional Turkish dishes. It is BYOB and will seat 36 people inside. The restaurant will also offer a sidewalk café for customers to sit outside on a sunny day.
