Philadelphia, PAPhiladelphia, PA - Pivot Coffee and Soupery, the brainchild of restaurateurs Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico, announce the grand opening at 738 S. 11th Street this Thursday, December 17, 2020.

Hawthorne's Owners Debut Pivot Coffee, Soupery, and Wine Shop

The husband-wife team behind Hawthornes, Wine Dive, Tio Flores, Quick Sip, The Cambridge, and soon-to-open Grace and Proper will offer full-service coffee and espresso shop, soupery, bakeshop, and wine shop - all rolled into one.

"Pivot Coffee and Soupery is designed as the ultimate pivot for our family and all of our employees," said Fetfatzes. "We spent months looking ahead, seeing where the trends are going, watching the data and talking to our team about what we could do to keep everyone employed and things operating through next summer at the very least. Pivot involved the installation and construction on the front of the building and a major shift inside as well. The all encompassing take-out window is inviting and we hope will make everyone feel safe and comfortable."

The new coffee shop will open with a brand new pastry chef, expanded streetery, Igloo bubble outdoor dining, and a full menu.

Look for breakfast sandwiches, breakfast grab and go, pastries and baked goods by Dan Tang (Sugar Philly), sandwiches, coffee, espresso, iced drinks, boozy hot and cold beverages, draft, bottled and canned beer, 150+ bottles of wine, and at least six types of soups daily.

Pivot Coffee and Soupery will open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Next-door to Hawthorne's open daily at 9:00 am for table service and the full menu of brunch, lunch, and dinner favorites.
