Philadelphia, PA - Brothers Jeffrey and Mike Mastro, along with their business partner Scott Trolio, are opening Steak 48 in Philadelphia this April, featuring prime steaks, American Wagyu as well as other steakhouse classics.

It will be located along Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts at 260 S Broad St, close to the Kimmel Center, and on the ground floor in The Atlantic Building. The steakhouse is going to offer guests a trendy atmosphere along with a classic-yet-intriguing menu. The 12,000 square-foot dining establishment will have several intimate spaces, along with a stunning mezzanine, with a fantastic view of Broad street.
A Refreshing New Approach to Steakhouses in Philadelphia
Steak 48 highlights will include a lively bar, a floor-to-ceiling glass open kitchen, romantic dining kitchen suites as well as several dining rooms and seating for approximately 450 guests.
The kitchen will be headed up by Executive Chef Robert Watson (Dominick’s Steakhouse and Steak 44), with help from Chef Marc Lupino. Their menu will consist of a wide selection of items to accommodate individual tastes and highlighting USDA prime steaks, along with wagyu beef, fresh seafood, chef-inspired appetizers as well as tempting desserts.
In the bar, you'll find an extensive wine program with wines from around the world, incorporating 48 wines-by-the-glass as well as 650 by-the-bottle craft cocktails and a diverse selection of spirits.
In advance of Steak 48’s launch on April 2020, the steakhouse is going to hold several preview events in which all of the proceeds will go to various Philadelphia charitable organizations.
