Lo Spiedo—“The Spit”— will reopen at the end of June 2017 as Amis in an attempt to grow the popular Navy Yards Diner traffic.
Located in The Navy Yard, at Philadelphia’s burgeoning commercial district, Amis will be open for lunch, happy hour and dinner service with weekend brunch to come, making it the perfect place to meet up with family, friends and co-workers. Situated just a short distance from both Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park, the restaurant is also the perfect destination for pre-and-post-game revelry. Amis features both an upstairs private dining room and spacious patio area, which can accommodate groups of all sizes.
June 23rd will be Lo Spiedo’s last day at the Navy Yard. They’ll give it a some updates over the weekend and reopen Tuesday, June 27th. The split-level restaurant will be divided between the bar area below and the dining room upstairs. The outdoor patio is still open for the warm weather — it’s even getting some new TVs, free parking, and extra space. Amis has recently also expanded into Westort, Connecticut.
