Hosted by Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, the show features 12 young bakers, ages 10-13 who compete for a $25,000 cash prize, a spot in Food Network Magazine, and the title of Kids Baking Champion.

Avner has recently partnered with Bill and Emilio Mignucci to hold a pre-Valentine’s Day-inspired pop-up bake sale with Di Bruno Bros. at the Ardmore Farmer’s Market. The baked goods will all be under $10, and consist of individually wrapped goodies and Valentine-themed items. Avner is going to donate profits from the sale to Simon’s Heart.

Simon’s Heart is a local organization that operates across the country to protect kids from sudden cardiac arrest, the leading cause of death of student-athletes. The organization, created in memory of Simon Sudman, who, fifteen years ago, passed on in his sleep at three months old.
