Philadelphia, PA - On Sunday, September 15, 2019, an estimated 3,900 burger lovers invaded the Philadelphia Navy Yard for the 9th Annual Philly Burger Brawl. This years competition showcased more than 60 burger contenders, all fighting for the title of Burger Brawl 2019 Champion.
As burger competitors were grilling and preparing inside their tents at the Navy Yard, The guest took pleasure in never-ending samples of food, as well as the drinks from Jim Bean.

The Burger Brawl was the inspiration of Rouge proprietor Rob Wasserman and his wife, Maggie, in conjunction with the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia. But the real winners in all of this are the FUND for the School District of Philadelphia (the FUND) as the Philadelphia Burger Brawl was created to benefit the FUND, which allocates fiduciary means to under-served schools, bringing technology-based learning programs to those schools.
