Philadelphia Burger Brawl 2019 WinnersPhiladelphia, PA - On Sunday, September 15, 2019, an estimated 3,900 burger lovers invaded the Philadelphia Navy Yard for the 9th Annual Philly Burger Brawl. This years competition showcased more than 60 burger contenders, all fighting for the title of Burger Brawl 2019 Champion. 


As burger competitors were grilling and preparing inside their tents at the Navy Yard, The guest took pleasure in never-ending samples of food, as well as the drinks from Jim Bean.

Lucky's Last Chance -The Pickle Monster: 2 1/4 lb beef patties, American Cheese, Pickles, Fried Pickles, Dill Potato Chips, Pickle Relish, Pickle Aioli, all stacked on a butter toaster Liscios pub roll.

The Bercy - Waygu Burger Boa - pickled cucumber, spicy aioli, pickled vegetables, beef waygu patty, sesame seeds & bao bun.

 
3rd Place
Moonshine Philly - The Pennsport - Crispy Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella, Caramelized Onions, Basil Aioli, Arugula, Tomato Jam, Garlic Toasted Bun 

Burger Brawl 2918 People's Choice Winner

Attendees at the event also cast their vote - one vote per ticketed guest - for the people's choice favorite burger. Here's the winners as voted by the burger lovers themselves:

Hard Rock Cafe - Guinness Burger (Sliders): Signature Steak-Burger Blend, Whiskey Bacon Jam with Guinness Cheese Sauce, Leaf Lettuce and Vine Ripe Tomato

The Burger Brawl was the inspiration of Rouge proprietor Rob Wasserman and his wife, Maggie, in conjunction with the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia. But the real winners in all of this are the FUND for the School District of Philadelphia (the FUND) as the Philadelphia Burger Brawl was created to benefit the FUND, which allocates fiduciary means to under-served schools, bringing technology-based learning programs to those schools.
